In short: we respect artists' rights. If something here is yours and was posted without permission, tell us and we'll take it down quickly. If your work was removed by mistake, you can ask for it back.

Raven's Immortal Art Studios is a home for original creative work. We follow the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). This page applies to everything on our site: music, writing, images and video.

1. Reporting a copyright problem

If you believe something on our site uses your copyrighted work without permission, send a written notice to our copyright agent (contact details in section 5). To be valid, your notice must include:

  1. your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name is fine);
  2. a description of the work you own (for example, the song title and where it was first released);
  3. the exact link(s) on our site to the material you want removed;
  4. your name, mailing address, phone number and email;
  5. this statement: "I have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law."
  6. this statement: "The information in this notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, I am the owner, or authorized to act on behalf of the owner, of the copyright that is allegedly infringed."

Please be sure before you report. Under U.S. law, a person who knowingly makes a false claim can be held responsible for the damage it causes.

2. What happens next

  • We remove or disable the material quickly once we get a valid notice.
  • We tell the person who posted it and send them a copy of the notice (we may remove your phone number and address first).

3. If your work was removed by mistake (counter-notice)

If you believe your material was removed by mistake, or you had permission to use it, you can send a counter-notice to our copyright agent. It must include:

  1. your physical or electronic signature;
  2. a description of the material that was removed and the link where it appeared before it was removed;
  3. this statement: "I swear, under penalty of perjury, that I have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled."
  4. your name, mailing address and phone number;
  5. a statement that you agree to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district where your address is (or, if you live outside the United States, any judicial district in which we may be found), and that you will accept legal papers from the person who sent the original notice or their agent.

We will send your counter-notice to the person who reported the material. If they do not tell us within 10 business days that they have filed a court case about it, we will restore the material within 10 to 14 business days after we received your counter-notice.

4. Repeat infringers

Accounts that receive repeated valid copyright complaints will be closed. Normally, an account is closed after three valid complaints, though we may act sooner in serious cases. Artist earnings tied to removed material may be cancelled.
